Overview

Node is a Silicon Valley-backed startup on a mission to democratize the creator economy by building technology that transforms how businesses and content creators collaborate. The Node app currently supports over 100 brands across North America in generating user-generated content (UGC) campaigns that are streamlined and data-driven.

My role

Over the course of 3 months, I worked primarily on updating Hubspot and expanding Node’s databases of leads by identifying, tracking, and maintaining a relationship with over 400 prospected leads. I also curated outreach and Excel templates that are currently being used to this day and built an outbound pipeline of decision makers and influencers. The outreach template was used to A/B test on LinkedIn and Instagram and led to a 20% increase in response rate from the prospected leads.

Takeaways

• Data derived from A/B testing and other campaigns are super important since it serves as the backbone for which direction the sales team should head to reach our goals.

• CRM systems like HubSpot is extremely helpful in tracking email open rates, click rates, and click-through rates, which again, goes back to how important data is.

• Relationship building with prospective leads should be authentic and not sales!
